TERRIFIC RV Sale! Our team (Christian, Gus, Jon) worked closely with us to make sure we were getting exactly the motorhome we wanted AT THE RIGHT PRICE. There was no 'hard sell' and no patronizing comments...just a purely professional and polite relationship focused on getting us the very best value for our money. Christian was the most understanding and clear-talking point of initial contact. Gus was particularly helpful in showing us options and in helping us do comparisons so we could could make the selection that worked for us. Jon worked extra hard to make sure the financial arrangements were clear, straightforward, and done to our advantage.

There were only two things that could have been done better: 1. On the Delivery Day for our new Motorhome, it would have been nice to have either a flow chart or 'Path to Happy Camping' that allowed us to understand the process better, as once or twice we were left wondering 'Who do we see now?' And, 2. We know that the additional warranty coverage and a few other 'guarantee'-type products are part of the standard sales pitch...BUT...the corporate-approved script is a bit tedious for those customers who already know a bit about 'the game'. Perhaps you could relook at that to make it more efficient and less like 'all the other RV companies'.

But...Overall...We were impressed and VERY pleased with General RV! I wish all the other RV companies could perform this well.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our Brinkley from General RV in Ocala. Our salesman Tom F. was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. He listened patiently to my needs and wants and took us specifically to see the RVs we requested to see. He was patient as I explored options between the different units and had answers for all of my questions, because we knew what we were looking for and wanted to thoroughly compare our options. Once we chose the specific unit we wanted, Jon with the finance team helped me quickly process our application and paperwork as we were on a tight timeline for the purchase and needed the sale processed in a timely manner. Our pick up was also promptly scheduled and the team that walked us through our new unit that day was also very helpful and informative. For the first time in a long time (for any business I have interacted with), it felt like everyone was truly working together diligently as a team for a smooth transaction. Can’t forget to mention the wonderful ladies at the front desk as well! They were on the ball, in touch with connecting everyone on the team and making the sale a seamless effort between all of the departments. Thank you General RV for a wonderful experience and thank you Tom for the follow up calls to see how we are doing even two months after the sale. After purchasing another RV just 1 month prior to this one from another company in St. Augustine, I have nothing but positive praises for the Ocala General RV store for their excellent service.

I bought an RV back in Oct after a horrible accident. I paid in full. As of today, January, I still haven't gotten my title. I called last week and he said he would get back to me but didn't so I called again. Come to fine out the title number one, was mailed to them in Nov. Why I have no idea. It should have been mailed to me since I paid in full. Then number two, they said they tried twice to get incontact with me with no response, they had the wrong number. However, they could have tried my number but they didn't. I have been waiting since I have planned a trip which leaves within a week. I need the title.
Another thing. When I bought the RV they didn't show me the table, probably being it's flimsy table that does not hold up. We can't even eat on it. Very disappointed in General RV and Brinkley for how they made this table.

Jon was so awesome helping us to get our new RV. Second one we've bought at his location this year! We will definitely refer other friends to Jon!!!! Also, our sales person James was so attentive and even went above and beyond to find the specific camper we were looking for and had it brought to General RV in Ocala. Great job, James!!!!

I'm so grateful to Chris - parts at the Ocala, FL General RV Center! When I discovered the power cord hadn't been included with my beautiful 2024 East to West Della Terra, which I'd purchased last week at the Tampa area General RV, I rushed to the local store. Chris was so nice! He put up with Sheldon with humor and treats (Sheldon is a vocal doxie) and now they're on a first name basis. Finally, when I'd assumed I would need to buy the correct power cord, Chris told me he'd sell me one if I insisted, but my new home was supposed to come with one already. So, Sheldon and I saved enough money in not needing the cord, that we could buy a bigger patio rug for our lot. To Chris: You're a great dude with decent integrity. Sheldon may be a loud, outspoken little jerk sometimes but I trust his judgement of people. He's never been wrong yet, and he really likes you. Your service, fixing an error made by someone else, and patience with my newby knowledge of camper life, is further proof of your excellent customer care. Thank you and may you prosper in every way that brings you blessings. 🙂
