I LOVE Dr. Samantha Goodman. She continues to be so dedicated to the care (physical, mental & emotional) of her patients!!! With her assistance I am in better health than I have been in 40 years. Dr. Goodman treats the patient not just the symptoms. I feel so safe in her care because she always LISTENS to what I have to say & lets me know that my wellness is important to her! I’m blessed to have this amazing woman as my physician and now my friend❤️❤️

If there were negative stars I would choose that option. Possibly the most uncaring, unsupportive, insensitive doctors I have encountered. My mother was her patient a few years ago. She had a seizure at dyalisis and was transported to Regional. We stayed in the er for almost 3 hours waiting for Goodman to show up. She refused to communicate with the knowledgeable, caring attending physician via phone so limited care was available as Goodman would not share vital details of my mother's care. A week of missed visits, negative attitudes, an unwillingness to show compassion, and overall lack of empathy is how my mother spent her last days. Dealing with her office was horrible before that. Promises of returning a call we're not honored, difficult to get prescriptions filled, office staff was rude. I reached out for answers to her after my mother passed away and was met with a defensive, flippant, uncaring, insensitive, short, vague, responses. The sad part... my mother really liked Goodman. She trusted Goodman to take care of her, and Goodman let her and all of us down. When we needed her most, Goodman wasn't the doctor my mother thought she was. I saw through her ruse early on, and I was very disappointed to have confirmation that I was indeed correct in my judgement. Just don't imo.

Great, compassionate, listens. No wait at all. Spends time with you, no hurry. She's my sister in laws doctor too and has even gone to her home when unable to get to her office. Don't see that anymore.

Dr. Goodman's office has severely deteriorated over the past year. As an individual, she's a wonderful person. But her office, as a place to get consistent medical care, is horrendous. Expect severe scheduling problems, rude staff, and don't be surprised if you're pointed right back out the door to a walk-in clinic.

How can the doctor provide any consistency of care if you can never get in to see them? If they pass off visits to walk-in clinics - and not just for stuff like a fever or the sniffles, but serious medical issues. As an existing patient, no one should have to wait three months for an appt to deal with an acute problem.

Issues began when Dr. Goodman left Hendrick's provider network. When I've voiced my issues with this office to other care providers, they say the same thing back to me. It's gone downhill fast.

Abilene needs more doctors. It is a huge problem. This office, still accepting patients I believe, is a clear example of why. Even if you are an established patient, you'd be better off finding a provider in DFW - a three hour drive is better than a 2-3 month wait.

We love Dr Goodman and receive the highest care from her & her staff.
She is a text or phone call away at all times. Twice this year and once last a Christmas she kept in constant contact with us to guide us through some illnesses.

Over the past several years I became disgusted with my doctor. Spent more time bragging about his golf game than what I needed.
I was informed about MDVIP over a year ago by close friends. They had joined sometime ago. Once I had the meet/greet I was surprised and excited at the same time.
I said goodbye to the doctor I had used for 20 years. I have never had any regrets about changing. With MDVIP I feel more comfortable than ever.
Thank you.

Updated Jan 2018 and down graded this review to a don’t bother with this Dr. I saw her twice last year for minor issues one of which she never followed up on. My wife goes to her as well and has had the same problem even after the move from Hendrick. This month we received a letter in the mail from Goodman’s office that we would be billed $1600 per person a year just to be her patients in which I promptly remarked she wasn't worth co-pays I’ve already paid her along with what ever she milked from insurance. So I’m looking for a new PCP once again in a town of revolving hacks that have ludicrous expectations with largely no experience or name.
