I hope that this review will help other customers with their buying process. Since August, I have been buying from Lowe's every single week. I am in the process of changing my entire fence.
#1 huge quality issue:
So I bought 24 4x4 poles and 8 of the 6x8 pressure treated Pine Dog ear panels. I paid for delivery. This delivery was on time and the guy left everything where I asked him.
My husband and I started to move the panels very quickly to beat the rain.
I have been sanding each panels and treating each of them with Copper Green Wood preservatives. We are in Florida and I want to do things well. I am now discovering the poor state of the panels. See the picture below. I can assure you that these panels were not treated. The 4x4 were barely absorbing the Copper Green. The panels are absorbing so much that I am using one gallon per panels!
There are so many issues with this. I am managing a business and every time I am receiving something of very poor quality I am sending it back. It is clear that whoever makes the panels didn't control the quality and then whoever received the panels at Lowe's is also not very picky. As a business owner, I would have never thought (not even for one second) to deliver panels of this quality to one of my customers. Now, you must be wondering why am I not returning them?
#2 delivery and return process:
After receiving the panels, I realized that I needed steel saw horses to lay them down somewhere. It was pouring so I decided to buy online and have it delivered the next day.
On the pictures below, you can clearly see the delivery person holding one bag only which contains the marine paint and a brush I had bought along with the steel saw horses.
When I came back from work that day, I asked my husband who received the package where are the steel saw horses. He didn't know that I had bought that and he told me that we didn't receive it. So I decided to review my Ring camera and the lady is just holding a bag. So I opened my Lowe's app and I am trying to report an issue with the delivery. Don't try to look for it as it does not exist. I had to call customer service (I will also recommend that you don't call them on Sundays because the people working barely speak English and it is coming from a French speaker). My issue was very simple and as I see that the delivering company takes pictures, I am asking them to review the pictures because it is impossible to put steel saw horses in a tiny plastic bag. It took forever for the person to write everything down. She ending up telling me that she sent my request to the store and that I would receive a phone call from them. I woke up Monday morning with a $40 something refund instead of $59. So I call the store again and the lady I am speaking with is telling me that the previous customer service rep talked about a different item from my order but not the steel saw horses. I gave up! And they can see on my Lowe's account that I spent thousands of dollars there within just a month.
I think that they know that the entire refund process is difficult. Now if I want to return my panels, I know that it would take me forever. I don't want to debate a quality that should have not even been delivered in the first place.
Retail stores are not being trusted because of that. If they were really worried about their customers they would have inspected the quality. Too bad because I need 35 other panels!
If someone can recommend a place that is not trying to screw its customers, please share.

Didn't know there was a graveyard for plants. It was pretty cool. You get to buy plants that are dying and nurse them back to health. I like that they don't toss them in the trash. Plants are people too. LOL My Auntie took me there on my visit.

This is in addition to the prior post. I would like to reiterate that I had a pretty good time at Lowe's Home Improvement in Oakland Park Florida. I'm not sure what happened. I just wanted to make sure that the person who thought I was disappointed knows that I was not. I wanted others plant enthusiastic to know that they can get great plants even if they aren't perfect. Perfect example of why brick and morter retail is dead. Zero help. Asked several people about different items. Told wrong aisle every single time. Gave up, going to order online from Amazon. I was looking for funnels. Sent to 4, asked another, no english, asked another, 17, asked another he went to a computer. I followed him to the counter and a woman in a Valspar asked him what I was looking for. She said seasonal. She didn't even acknowledge me standing there. She had a _____ face and attitude. Not in seasonal. I was also looking for brooms. All were in overstock. Section was empty. Nobody restocked. Terrible.

Do not come to shop here. Sales associates do not help at all and are more worried about making sure the store looks clean than helping out a customer. Left the store today extremely unhappy after an interaction with one of there employees. Lowe’s do better! Instead of worrying about how the isle looks how about you train your employees to stop what they are doing and actually help customers to make sure your products get sold! Going to Home Depot as soon as I’m done writing this review, maybe they will help me there.

Edit: just finished leaving homedepot with exactly what I needed.

Drove an hour from Miami since they were the only location that had the pellet grill I wanted. From the time I called to confirm availability, I received excellent service. The cashier Amanda was nice and polite so was the rest of the staff. I had two gentlemen go outside with me to help me load the grill. Overall I recommend this Lowe’s over the other locations I’ve visited, it is amazing how they make you feel welcome and attended in such a huge store. Makes me want to make the drive for any other needs.

What a terrible experience. I ordered 2 items for same day delivery and they were sent to the wrong place and I never received the items. I've spent 2 days, with 4 calls each of 30 minutes, with Lowe's customer service and they still have not resolved the issue. Totally unacceptable in a competitive environment. I'll never use this store again.

I went to this Lowe's location. I asked for help with what I needed and JEREMY, offered to help me. He was the greatest help I have ever had in any store. Very kind and knowledgeable worker. I recommend this store to everyone is the best. He is the supervisor and he has taught everyone to do the greatest job. Thanks Jeremy.
